Al Jazeera's segment, "People and Power" reported this evening on a video game called, A Force More Powerful. While I am certainly not into gaming, what aroused my interest was the claim that this video game could potentially train peaceful activists to change their unfair and tyranous governments. The claim is indeed compelling, as the proponenets of AFMP added that if video game instruction can train soldiers for combat, then it too can work for developing strategies for peaceful activism and protest.
It's just genious, I think. But, more importantly, go find out for yourselves. Visit Al Jazeera's online spot to catch an archive of this evenings segement, "People and Power." (If that's possible, I'm not sure.) Or go to AFMP's website: http://www.aforcemorepowerful.org/
